Monica Walton was born and raised in Southwest Louisiana. A graduate of the LSU School of Journalism, she has years of work experience in print, broadcast, and digital media and Catholic Church ministry. She has lived in Mississippi for over 35 years. Since 2022, she has worked full-time as a freelance writer and editor. She is proud to be Mama to four wonderful children and MoMo to five precious grandchildren.
